Safer Internet Day

Posted on: February 14, 2020

On Tuesday this week, Ormiston Herman Academy celebrated Safer Internet Day. Computing club delivered an assembly focusing on online safety tips, where they asked the children to complete a poster or leaflet to show the information that they had shared. The theme for Safer Internet Day was ‘Free To Be Me: Online Identity’. Children were encouraged to create their own avatars and explore the importance of using avatars and cryptic usernames to protect their online identities.
