On Friday 19th September Ormiston Herman Academy took part in ‘Genes for Jeans Day’ Students and staff supported this well- recognised charity by coming into the academy wearing their jeans, aswell as bringing in a donation of £1.
About Jeans for Genes
Jeans for Genes raises money for Genetic Disorders UK and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.
Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 30,000 babies each year.
Ormiston Herman continually support a number of charities and would like to thank everyone who made this another successful fundraising event, raising the grand total of £255 for children with genetic disorders.
