To celebrate National Breakfast Week, Herman Academy’s Breakfast Club invited parents to join the regular attenders for breakfast. The children eagerly showed their parents the activities, toys and games on offer each and every morning as part of the academy’s commitment to ensure a good start to the day for every child.
With a mounting body of evidence from researchers around the globe, including the British Psychological Society, to support the benefits of breakfast to learning, Herman is determined to help every child do their very best.
Mark Thompson, Vice Principal, said, “The breakfast club we have at Herman has doubled in since September. We now cater for around 60 children a day, ensuring they have a healthy and energy-filled start to their learning day. It is wonderful that the children can now show their parents the benefits of coming to the club.”
