Ormiston Herman Academy recently took part in the ‘High 5 it’ sponsorship competition to win a new kit for our football team, along with the chance to win a £500 club donation and a set of practice balls. Voting took place online, with a number of schools competing against each other to get the highest number of votes, with the deadline being the 31st July.
Mr Cook, TA at the academy, who helped promote the competition said, ” We are pleased to say that our academy received overwhelming support, with a high number of votes cast. Our football team are now the proud owners of a new football strip and we can’t wait to play our first game so that we can show it off. A very big thank-you to everyone who voted for us, your support is very much appreciated.”
On October 1st a football player, (whom is yet to be confirmed), will attend the academy to present a cheque to the team worth £500 , along with a set of practice balls. The presention will be photographed and be featured in the local press.
