Competition Time in Acorn Nursery!
Nursery are holding an exciting “Create your own Scarecrow” competition as part of their EYFS garden revamp, and they want as many families as possible to get involved! Families who wish to enter are being asked to make their own scarecrows; the use of recycled materials is being encouraged as part of ‘Reduce Reuse Recycle.’ Another important point to take note of is the height of your scarecrows should be between 50 and 100cm. All entries should be brought into nursery by Monday 19th May, ready for judging to take place on Friday 23rd May. Prizes will be awarded to the two best scarecrows from each nursery session. The academy will then display all the scarecrows in the EYFS garden.
Good Luck and remember to give your scarecrow a name!
