This week in the Key of H class (Key workers of Herman Academy) we have enjoyed a range of themed learning chosen by the children. Melody’s Monday Maths taught us about roman numerals as we made a clock face out of twigs. Poppy’s Pic Picks showed us how to create cartoon characters. We turned these into comic strips while learning how to punctuate direct speech. We had a Harry Potter themed day too, making a Marauders Map of the school, a magic potion, a wand and creating a spell from the root word of it’s product. Along with completing this weeks challenges, a daily PE lesson and reading Michael Morpurgo’s ‘The Wreck of the Zanzibar’, it has certainly been another busy week!
