Children create art work in celebration of Her Majesty’s birthday!

Posted on: June 17, 2016

Children from KS1 and KS2 have been using a range of different media to create pictures of the Queen in celebration of her ninetieth birthday. Children from Year 1 each made a collage of the queen and thought very carefully about how to represent fine details such as her jewellery. Some children from KS2 drew inspiration from Andy Warhol and made pop art style images using bold colours and repetition. Other children created artwork using vocabulary associated with Her Majesty. The finished results were all spectacular and would definitely receive royal approval!
