Dinosaurs are ‘Roar-some!’

Posted on: June 12, 2014

On Tuesday 10th June, children in Peach and Pear classes visited the Dinosaur Adventure park. Children enjoyed getting up close to some dinosaurs as well as digging for dinosaur bones. There was a chance for pupils to find out the history of dinosaurs, when they took part in an educational talk. Everyone enjoyed playing in the adventure playground during their visit. Ice-creams were given as a treat to the children at the end of the day, to cool everybody down. Medals were received and proudly worn for collecting all the stamps along the dinosaur trail. Children and staff had a fantastic day out, which was both educational and fun!

“What a fantastic day out we all had! The children were so well behaved and represented our Academy with pride. It was a great opportunity for lots of learning in a different outside environment, in a fun and exciting way.” – Miss Allen, reception teacher.

“I liked it when we saw lots of dinosaurs on the dinosaur trail,” said Oliver, a reception child.
“We saw some real fossils,” added Sophia
“I liked the robot dinosaur. It moved it’s tail and head and made loud noises,” ¬†commented Elisha
