Posted on: April 22, 2015

On Monday staff and pupils discovered a strange looking ‘nest’ in their pond area, with large footprints on the ground close to the scene. Children were intrigued by the findings, with some pupils looking for further clues during their break times. On Tuesday morning the mystery continued, with rubbish littering three separate areas of the academy. Was it a large bird? or an unknown creature? were some of the questions being asked by the confused students. Today pupils took part in an animal trail, where they had to solve clues to questions situated around the academy. The mystery was finally solved, during an assembly held this afternoon, when a ‘dragon’ was unveiled.

Paris, a year six student said, “I’m really excited about it because we get to create a design, as homework, which will be painted on to the dragon and displayed in school.”
