Little Learners find their BRAVE

Posted on: February 7, 2020

On Wednesday we were very BRAVE and we went on a Bear hunt in search for a Bear.  We searched for one wet shiny noise, two furry ears and two googly eyes.  We all put on our welly boots (Welly Wednesday) and our coats and we explored the outdoor environment.  We walked all the way around the field and carried telescopes to look for signs of the bear.  We also retold the story ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ which involved lots of repeated language and created actions for the swishy grass, splashy river, squelchy mud, swirly whirly snowstorm and stumble tripped in the forest!  We did finally find the bear in the wooden gazebo and enjoyed some well-deserved hot chocolate and biscuits. One of the children said “this is the best day ever!”
