Local Artist Inspires Pupils!

Posted on: April 29, 2015

On Tuesday 28th April, OHA welcomed a special visitor, local artist Mik Richardson. Mik works with the Break Charity and the organisation Wild in Art, who are involved with the GoGo Dragons Project. He spent the day with pupils in years 3,4 and 5 talking about dragons in folklore and creating art work, based around a dragon scale. Each childs art work will be pieced together to create one big art project.

Miss Westgate, teaching assistant, said, ‘Mik was able to inspire children to create fantastic pieces of art work and we look forward to him visiting again in the future.’
