Santa’s Surprise Visit!

Posted on: December 18, 2014

Excitement was in abundance this morning as pupils and staff welcomed a very special visitor. The whole academy gathered on the playground, eagerly awaiting the arrival of Father Christmas. Children were seen jumping up and down and waving excitedly, as the sleigh arrived. Two children from each class were chosen to collect their presents from Santa.

Big thanks to Great Yarmouth Lions Club, who helped organise this event, which has made a lot of children at the academy extremely happy today!

Pupils had the opportunity to open their gifts, when they returned to their classrooms. The senior year were happy to have received circus equipment: stilts, diabolos and spinning plates!

Cameron, a year 6 pupil said, ” It was thoughtful of Santa to give us circus equipment, as we had taken part in a circus workshop not that long ago”.
