Herman Academy is absolutely delighted to have been awarded “5 Stars” by Great Yarmouth Borough Council’s Environmental Health department.
Following an unannounced, spot visit, the kitchen facilities were awarded the highest possible ratings in terms of food preparation and hygiene. This is a fantastic testimony to the hard work that the team put into serving good quality meals to the children at Herman every, single day.
Catering Manager, Julie Rudd, said “The inspection looked at every aspect of the provision. Food storage, preparation areas, fridges and the knowledge of the team were all scrutinised during the visit. We are all absolutely delighted with the outcome and look forward to displaying the certificate and ratings sticker very proudly.”
Academy Principal, Kate Rutherford, said “I congratulate the catering team for all their hard work in delivering this great outcome. Its another great testament to the wonderful work Herman does for all our children.”
